Wood from a specific whisky cask

The stave used for this light comes from Laphroaig cask number 9759, filled in 1990. The markings on the wood identify that particular cask. They tell you exactly where the material came from, connecting this handmade piece to a real part of Scotland's whisky history.

I work with the oak's natural curve and finish it by hand, keeping its individual grain and character.
