Wood from a specific whisky cask
The stave used for this light comes from Ardbeg cask number 8145, filled in 2016. The markings on the wood identify that particular cask. They tell you exactly where the material came from, connecting this handmade piece to a real part of Scotland's whisky history.
I work with the oak's natural curve and finish it by hand, keeping its individual grain and character.
