From Campbeltown, 1991. The Whisky Capital That Refused to Die.

Campbeltown was once the whisky capital of the world. Over thirty distilleries crowded this windswept peninsula on Scotland's west coast, sending casks across the globe. Then came the lean years — and one by one, they closed. But Springbank endured. Family-owned since 1828, still floor-malting its own barley, still doing everything by hand. It is the purist's distillery. The one whisky lovers whisper about.

In 1991, this oak was filled with Springbank single malt and laid down in a dunnage warehouse on the edge of the Atlantic. For over three decades it breathed the salt air, deepened, rounded, surrendered its angel's share. Cask number 5734.

When the last dram was finally poured, we brought a single stave home to our wee workshop on the Highlands and Lowlands border. We sanded it gently, preserved its hard-earned patina, and engraved the original cask details into its face: 1991. SPRINGBANK. The result is this Springbank Whisky Stave Wall Art — a single, irreplaceable piece of Campbeltown history, ready for your wall.

A One-of-One Piece of Campbeltown

This isn't a print. It isn't a reproduction stamped onto fresh wood. This is the stave from the cask — a single, irreplaceable artefact carrying over thirty years of distillery history in its grain.

Every detail of this Springbank Whisky Stave Wall Art is real — the warm honey tones of the reclaimed oak, the subtle char from the cask's interior, and the soft aroma of aged malt that still lingers in the wood when the room warms. Hang it above your home bar, in a snug kitchen, along a hallway, or anywhere a piece of true Scotch heritage belongs.

The Gift for the True Whisky Enthusiast

This isn't a gift for the casual drinker. This is the gift for the collector — the person who orders Springbank 15 by the case, who talks about Campbeltown terroir over dinner, who already owns the bottles you've never heard of. For them, a Springbank 1991 cask stave isn't decor. It's a trophy.

A milestone birthday gift. A retirement present with real gravitas. A wedding gift for the couple who met over a dram.

Limited to a Single Piece

Each Springbank Whisky Stave Wall Art is one-of-one. When this 1991 cask piece finds its wall, we cannot source another identical stave — and Springbank casks are notoriously rare to begin with.

Add to basket and bring a piece of Campbeltown home. Slàinte.
