Grapevine Whisky Barrel Coffee Table - 70cm

This whisky barrel coffee table gives a large American oak cask head a new role in everyday life. I made it by hand in my one-person workshop near Loch Lomond, pairing the reclaimed oak with a decorative grapevine design and black hairpin legs. The round top measures 70 cm in diameter, and the table stands 40 cm high. This is a single, one-of-a-kind piece.

American oak with the character of a cask

The joined boards, visible grain and darker edge keep the character of the barrel head in view. Grapes, vine leaves and curling tendrils form a circular motif across the top, leaving the texture of the oak visible. The wood comes from a whisky barrel; the grapevine is a decorative design.

A round coffee table for your living room

The warm oak and open hairpin base sit comfortably alongside leather seating, linen upholstery or simple contemporary furniture. At 70 cm across, the top offers room for a book and drinks on coasters. Check the space around your seating and the height of your sofa when choosing its place.
