On the northeast coast of Islay, where the sea is calmer and the smoke softer, sits Bunnahabhain — the island's gentle giant. Less peated than its neighbours, deeply loved by those who know, and quietly revered by whisky enthusiasts the world over. In 2016, this oak was filled with Bunnahabhain spirit and laid down to rest by the sea. When the cask was finally emptied, we brought a single stave home to our wee workshop on the Highlands and Lowlands border — and reimagined it entirely.

The result is this Bunnahabhain Whisky Glass Holder — a functional piece of art that cradles your dram in a nest of Harris Tweed, beside a metal plate forged from the cask's own iron hoop. Every element of it, from the oak to the inscription, came from the same barrel.

This isn't a production line. It isn't an endless run. Only eight Bunnahabhain Whisky Glass Holders were crafted from cask #19. Each one is numbered, hand-finished, and traceable to the same Islay barrel. When they're gone, they're gone — and we cannot source another identical cask.
